Sergio Lockhart is a first-generation Filipino-American, raised by a single mother in the Philippines before making Brooklyn his home. Some of his Off-Broadway credits include Macbeth at the John Cullum Theater, American Theatre of Actors, directed by Kenneth Coughlin, Heather Christie's heartwarming short story series LoveNotes! at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre in Symphony Space, and J'Marshall Evans’ gripping drama The Last Hour–a revival slated for next fall.
Sergio also routinely enjoys acting on screen through indie & short films and dancing in commercials & music videos.
With a degree in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame, as well as his study of acting, voice, and dance, Sergio embodies the spirit of a Renaissance man. His passions also include studying languages (currently learning Spanish and Japanese), and deep dives into psychology that help him better understand himself and the human experience. When he's not expanding his mind, you'll find him gliding through Brooklyn's streets on his skateboard, discovering new neighborhoods and music.
Deeply connected to his creative communities, Sergio finds joy in improvisation, performing regularly with the musical comedy improv troupe, Eight Is Never Enough at The Broadway Comedy Club, at The Barrow Group School where he continues to study, and at PMT's House of Dance. His life reflects his desire to always be learning and growing.
